Dear CHIME-3 Participants,
I hope all or most of you have received your individual CHIME-3 result packet in the mail! We want to sincerely thank all of you for volunteering and participating in the CHIME study. We all did this together during such a difficult time and we cannot thank you enough for your time and efforts in this study!
In addition to your individual result packet, the aggregate results are available for your review online at this interactive website: Gardenroots. Your result packet will include instructions on how to create an individual log in, which will allow you to view and compare your individual data alongside the unidentified aggregate data. The website also displays all of the different metals tested for each of the samples, while your individual result packet only highlights the metals of greatest interest in the CHIME study. We highly recommend exploring the online website as well as your physical result packet.
To help all participants navigate the data and have a better understanding of these results, we would like to invite you to a participants-only data review meeting. Our lab researcher from University of Arizona, Dr. Monica Ramirez-Andreotta, will guide this meeting to help everyone interpret the data and navigate the interactive online website she created. This meeting is for all of you and any questions you may have! Please feel free to submit any questions before the meeting using this Google Form: Participant questions. This will help us prepare for the meeting and do our best to address your questions.
The participants-only data review meeting will be held online on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at 5:30pm.
Here is a Zoom link for the meeting: Participants-only data review meeting. Below is the full Zoom meeting invitation for those of you who may need to call in.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you again for your participation!
